1. Chemical Polish

Chemical polishing is performed currentless, meaning no extra time and effort is needed for electric contacting and installation of cathodes. The part is deburred and abraded through chemical removal all over the part’s surface.

2. Ultrasonic Cleaning

Ultrasonic cleaning is a cleaning method that uses ultrasound, usually from 20–400 kHz, and an appropriate cleaning solvent, sometimes ordinary tap water, to clean delicate items. The ultrasound can be used with just water, but use of a solvent appropriate for the item to be cleaned enhances the effect.

3. Surface Preparation

A) Sandblasting – Beadblast & Wetblast

Sandblasting is the process of forcibly propelling a stream of abrasive media against a surface under high pressure to put smooth or rough texture on a surface, shape a surface, or remove surface contaminants. Compressed air or a centrifugal wheel is used to propel the media.

B) Mechanical Polish – Jitterbug & Hairline

Mechanical polishing covers grinding, polishing and buffing – all processes for improving the surface conditions of a product for decorative or functional purposes. The various techniques are abrading operations although some plastic working of the surfaces may occur, particularly during buffing.
